Overview

In 2019, K&G Sports in partnership with the LPGA Tour, launched the Women’s All-Pro Tour (WAPT).  The WAPT is recognized as the “Official Qualifying Tour” for the LPGA’s Epson Tour. “Just as the Epson Tour serves as the ‘Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA Tour’, the WAPT provides aspiring professionals the opportunity to play in quality tournament competition and be ready to compete at a high level when the opportunity presents itself,” said Mike Nichols, former Chief Business Officer of the Epson Tour.

The primary goals of this new women’s tour was to provide mentoring, a highly competitive tournament setting, and more opportunities to the next level. Since its inception, the WAPT has graduated a number of strong players including: Yealimi Noh, Matilda Castren, Gabby Then, Grace Kim, Sofia Garcia, Alexa Pano, Savannah Vilaubi and Riley Rennell. All now play the LPGA Tour. The WAPT has also produced 5 Epson Tour winners including Sarah White, Gabby Then, Grace Kim, Fernanda Lira and Emma Broze. WAPT President Gary DeSerrano. “The WAPT not only provides more playing opportunities but a true path to the Epson and LPGA Tours.”

WAPT conducts only 72-hole championships with a full week of activities including parties, clinics, pro-ams and more. Tournaments are held in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas. Most events partner with local philanthropic groups and raise money for charitable causes.

Grace Kim (pictured) was a 2x winner on the 2021 WAPT, a winner on the Epson Tour in 2022 and will play the LPGA in 2023. The WAPT provided Grace with the playing opportunities and a clear path to her professional golf career.
