The Player Pursuits management team has a diverse background and extensive experience in all aspects of the game of golf, with deep expertise in consumer technology products, marketing, branding, and strategic business development. The team has a thorough understanding of the entire golf ecosystem including players, coaches and teachers, golf brands, associations, and other organizations. The team is dedicated to building next-generation technology that brings golfers together while providing unique tools and resources that enhance everyone’s pursuit to improve their game.
Jeff Hokenson, Chief Executive Officer
Jeffrey Hokenson is Co-Founder of Player Pursuits and also serves as CEO, guiding the strategic direction and business development initiatives at the company. He is also founder and Principal of the Hokenson Group Inc., which creates, invests in, works with, and grows portfolio companies in multiple sectors, including Digital Technology, Finance, Clean/Green Technologies, and Active Lifestyle and Entertainment. Under the leadership of Jeff, the Hokenson Group has developed a proprietary, multi-phased process for establishing and growing portfolio companies by utilizing proven methodologies. Hokenson Group has co-founded several successful companies including Concentric Ag, 495 Digital, and Alpine-X.
Jeff resides in McLean, Virginia with his wife, daughter and son, and is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia
Hank Isaac, Chief Marketing Officer
Hank Isaac is Co-Founder of Player Pursuits and leads branding, design, and marketing initiatives at the company. He is a creative thought leader with more than 25 years of marketing and advertising agency experience developing both digital and traditional communications for businesses of all sizes, from startups to global corporations. Nationally recognized for conceptual and strategic development of large, fully integrated cross-media advertising and branding campaigns.
Hank has been an integral part of the design and development of several large scale digital products and consumer applications used by millions on both mobile and Web. He has led the branding, design, and marketing efforts for numerous startups and National consumer product brands, including Alpine-X, and Schël Apparel.
Hank resides in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and two daughters and is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
Bart Kendall, Advisor
Golf industry veteran Bart Kendall leads B2B and strategic alliance efforts at Player Pursuits. He has spent most of his professional career working in the business of golf, starting his career working for sports marketing icon IMG in Cleveland, OH. During his 18 years at IMG, he served in various roles including event management, corporate sales, and creating IMG Golf’s consulting division. At IMG, Bart worked with numerous key stakeholders in the golf business including Tour Pros, governing bodies, media partners, agencies, corporate brands, marquee events, and premium golf properties. He played an integral role in bringing new concepts and events to life, such as the primetime “Battle Series” featuring Tiger Woods, and the creation of the Deutsche Bank Championship PGA Tour event.
Following IMG, Bart joined Golf Channel where he led the alternate event programming development team which included the creation of new made-for-TV events, and the growth of the World Long Drive Tour. During his time at Golf Channel, the World Long Drive Tour grew from one televised event to six televised events and positioned Long Drive as a legitimate segment of the sport.
Bart lives in Winter Park, Florida with his wife and three children, and is a graduate of Stanford University in Stanford, California.
Stephen Moskal, Director of Instruction
Stephen Moskal leads the Instruction and Junior development initiatives at Player Pursuits. A former professional golfer in Europe, Stephen was a member of the French National Circuit and also spent time on the United Kingdom Mastercard Tour and the European Challenge Tour. Following a seven-year professional career, he turned to teaching full-time in 1999, landing a job as head golf pro at Golf de Chevannes-Mennecy from 1997-2000 and an assistant pro at Golf de St. Cloud from 1990-98, both in Paris. His knowledge of the game and his passion for teaching has helped him have substantial success with developing the skills and talents of Junior golfers to the elite level.
Stephen has also served as the Director of Instruction at Fair Oaks Golf Park in Fairfax, Va, where he established the Junior Golf Academy and organized over 20 tournaments a year. He was also the Director of Instruction at TopGolf in Virginia, where he and Mitchell Spearman first worked together. Under Mitchell’s tutelage, Stephen developed an eye for the swing and follows Mitchell’s teaching philosophy of completely understanding a player’s swing “in just one shot”.
Richard Cole, Director of Member Services
Richard brings a multifaceted background to the Player Pursuits table, which translates to the variety of hats he wears within the company. Primarily focused on Member Services, he brings a wealth of experience in customer-focused professions, both in the healthcare industry and in a number of areas in the entertainment world, including music management and movie production. He has worked with many international brands in the healthcare world, including Agfa, Philips, and Siemens, and in the entertainment industry, with such companies as Apple TV, The Sundance Institute, and Sony Music.
As an avid sports fan, Richard has competed in ice hockey tournaments in Europe and the US, and is a keen golfer and a perfect example of how, as your golf game gets worse, your love for it exponentially grows.
